Following on from the success of the 2023 Traditional Music Day we are delighted to be bringing this event to the town of Stowmarket again – this time on Saturday 21st September.

Once again we are delighted to have on board Artistic Director Alan Bearman and a small but dedicated team of volunteers already working hard behind the scenes to bring you a wide mix of events – some free, some ticketed – taking place across the town of Stowmarket.
We are incredibly grateful to wonderful East Anglian artist, Karen Cater for creating a brand new logo for this event – Mr Jolly Boy. Jig Dolls feature on the day regularly in the sessions and we will be offering a free workshop during the day and the chance to dance them alongside the stepdancing sessions in the day.
We are looking for volunteers to the help the day itself run smoothly. If you’re interested in doing a stint on our information desk or acting as Venue Manager please do get in touch.
