Jim Bainbridge
Jim started out on the traditional music scene in the 1960s
with the famed Marsden Rattlers of South Shields. His
understated melodeon playing is hugely impressive and
he has gathered an eclectic and entertaining repertoire of
songs and music whilst remaining heavily influenced by
the lively Northeast and
Tyneside Irish traditions.

The Askew Sisters
Emily and Hazel are a young duo who play and sing with an infectious enjoyment
and love for the music: from foot stomping tunes to powerful interpretations of
songs and ballads. They have played across the UK, including many festivals and
the National Theatre.

Billy Teare & Kathleen O’Sullivan
Billy, a maverick storyteller poet and
magician, honed his audience skills
on the Belfast comedy circuit.
Kathleen has Irish roots too and is a
fine traditional singer, with a taste for
subtle lyrical ballads. Together, they
present an entertaining treasure
trove of stories, songs, poetry
and music.

Chris Coe & Johnny Adams
Chris is a singer of outstanding sensitivity with a deep understanding of
traditional songs, and Johnny is an influential musician and researcher.
Together they perform with Ryburn Three Step. Look out for fiddle, dulcimer,
songs, Lakeland stepping and talks from these two inspirational people.

Mary Humphreys & Anahata
Mary & Anahata play and sing really interesting stuff
on a wide variety of instruments with verve and astonishing
dexterity! They will be concentrating on songs and tunes
from their adopted county for the ‘Focus on Cambridgeshire’
and also playing for the afternoon ceilidh as ...
Four Hand Band
Good English tunes that are perfect for this type of dancing,
played with joyful, bouncy energy, designed to get you on
your
feet and your feet off the floor!
